Video tape gets worn every time you use it.  Chemical processes, disintegration, and magnetic fields can limit many tapes to a shelf life of as little as 10 years.  DVDs not only never wear and tear, they will be around long after you're not. 

One of DVD's best features is improved quality.  VHS tape only offers 200-300 vertical lines of resolution, DVD allows a full 480 lines allowing sharper and more detailed imagery.

*Pricing is $8.00 per 50 feet and the usually running time is around 3 minutes. ( This is the small 2 and half inch reel ). You also may have some bigger reels which have been spliced together. Usually a 4 inch reel is 200 feet ($32.00), a 6 inch reel is  300 feet($48.00) and a
 8 inch reel is 400 feet ($64.00).

We usually put up to 60 to 120 minutes on each dvd depending on the quality of the film so you can get around 20 to 40 of the 50 footers on each DVD.

All DVD's are chaptered ever six minutes for no additional cost.
